After over 9,200 miles, the Dave Rawlings Machine is about to wrap up the first leg of the US tour tomorrow night in their home state, in Knoxville at the gorgeous Tennessee Theatre. They’ll pick back up over the holidays with a triumphant return to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, as well as shows in Texas and Arizona as they make their way back to the where the whole thing began in Souther California. See the remaining US tour dates on the Tour page!

Gillian made a special stop at KEXP studios in Seattle this year, along with her bandmates in the Dave Rawlings Machine, right at the top of their long and winding Nashville Obsolete US tour. Watch below for live performances of songs new and old, plus an extended interview with host Stevie Zoom.

Watch & Listen below, to Tom Jones’ beautiful tribute to his friend Elvis Presley, in the form of a cover of Gillian’s song, “Elvis Presley Blues.” On his new album Long Lost Suitcase, a companion piece to his autobiography, both available for purchase now.

Dave Rawlings Machine is pleased to announce the release of their first music video, ‘The Weekend.’ The video was shot on a breakneck road trip from Nashville to California. “It was the craziest idea,” says Rawlings, “to document a weekend trip from Music City to the beach and back.” The opening scene shows Rawlings and Welch packing up the ’65 Chevy Impala they first toured in. West-coast bound, outfitted in Nudie Suits and armed with guitars and a beach blanket, the story unfolds over the course of ‘The Weekend.’ The trip is real, the breakdown is real, the mechanic is real, unplanned, but evidence that Dave Rawlings Machine will go wherever the road leads them.
