Gillian and Dave Rawlings Machine to play INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS concert in NYC Sept 29
ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER TIME: CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF “INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS” will take place at The Town Hall in New York City on Sunday, September 29, 2013. The concert is inspired by the upcoming film, INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS. Produced by the film’s directors Joel and Ethan Coen and its Executive Music Producer T Bone Burnett, the star-studded concert — with live performances of the film’s music, and songs from the early legendary 1960s era that inspired it — will feature Gillian and the Dave Rawlings Machine, among other artists and stars of the film.
Tickets for the one-night-only performance go on sale this Wednesday, August 21st at 12pm EST. There is a presale on Tuesday, August 20th. For more information on lineup, ticket prices, presales and more, follow this link.
Austin City Limits re-airing Gillian and David’s performance
Austin City Limits will be re-airing Gillian and Dave’s 2011 episode with The Decemberists starting this Saturday, June 29th, where they perform several songs from their 2011 album, The Harrow & The Harvest. ABC’s Nashville continues to showcase local artists and music. In last week’s Episode 7, Lovesick Blues, the character Deacon Clayborne (played by Charles Esten) sings another unreleased Gillian song called “Papa Writes to Johnny,” while performing at the Bluebird Cafe.
